In which the world is closed

This afternoon Nick, Jackie and I went for a drive down through Cheddar gorge to Wooky Hole Caves only to find that it was shut for some unexplained reason. I was rather upset at this as we have been trying to get there all week. So we decided to stop in Cheddar to see the cheddar caves and they (and most of the shops) were also shut. We had a hot chocolate in a cafe and then went home. On the way home we had about three flakes of snow which I thought was a pitiful attempt.

Some time later.
After writing the first part of this post there were loud carols in the street. We piled outside in the cold to see a car (with loud music) pulling santa in his sleigh. Crazy Brittish.

Tomorrow we may be taking the mini buns to the vet to be gender tested as Nick and I keep changing our minds. If they are all girls Nick gets to keep them all. If they are all boys Nick gets to keep them all but must make a new hutch to keep them in. But if they are a mixture he must sell the boys. 7 adult rabbits is going to be a handful.

Hey, I've been flat out doing fieldwork up the coast and everytime I come back to civilization you have written like a zillion posts.

I hope it snows for Christmas. Proper snow, not just three flakes.
