Today Jackie, Paul and I went to the Eden Project. The Eden Project is a series of biodomes which have the climates controlled to house different plant species. It is situated at the bottom of an old quarry so as well as the biodomes the sides of the quarry have been recently planted. While the concept is good and they have done a good job of it I was slightly dissapointed as there were only two biodomes. The first being a mediteranian climate (so all plants that can be grown at home) and the second was a rainforest climate which had plants which we can see at the Adelaide botanical gardens. So nothing new and exciting to see. However, i did take a number of photos and am eager to see them when they are developed. I also managed to pick up a few pressies for people and got myself some Fance Nancy gloves.
So other than my day - I am really missing having my pets around and also wishing that Nick wasnt working so that he could come out with us and it is not just me following Paul and Jackie around. Another unfortuate thing is I am going to miss seeing Sarah (and probably Emma) as we are only driving down to London on the 19th and Sarah is flying out somewhere on the 19th.
