Again our plans to visit the zoo were foiled by the weather. So instead we decided to do the truely brittish thing and visit the seaside. Nick, Jackie and I bundled into the car and drove down to Western-Super-Mare. On the way we stopped at a store which was a bit like the new and improved Viginia nursery but with an even greater variety of things. The pet shop section was huge. They had a variety of rabbits, budgies, cockatiels, frogs, tortoise, and fish (There was even a massive blue tongue). But the most impressive was all the different types of rodents. There were rats, mice, chinchillas, hampsters, gerbils, and even a chipmonk.
When we arrived at the seaside it was raining. The old pier had been burnt down and they were busy rebuilding it. We went shopping and bought some christmas presents and I bought some presents for home.
While we were driving around I saw a shop called the Holey body which sold tatoos and piercings. I thought it a very fitting name.

After leaving the sunny seaside we went for a drive across the Clifton suspension bridge. Nick got all excited as it was the first time he had driven across it. We then found my old school and Nick and my old houses.
After our senic tour the three of us went bowling. I came a close second in the first game but really stuffed up the second with more balls going down the gutter than hitting the balls. Jackie won both games. So now we are home and having pizza for dinner.

Hello Victoria, I'm pleased that you are having a good time. The new cat seems to be settling in quite well. The new dog comes in a couple of weeks. Where will we put you when you return?
Love Dad.
