In which Twistie has an adventure and Tori sees Beauty and the Beast

This afternoon I lunged Twistie in the park as usual. She was good and after she finished work we went for a walk around the park to cool off. At the far corner of the horse park you can see the dog park (where sometimes Twistie and Bounce like to have races) and there were lots of men there cutting down all the trees. It is very sad. I had heard a rumor that they were planning on building a school on the park but I had hoped they wouldnt do it. Anyways after our walk around the park I let Twistie off the lead to walk home (as usual). She followed along quite happily but just before we reached Jan's driveway she started walking faster than me and instead of going home she turned up Terry's driveway and began to trot. I followed her and convinced her to walk again but she kept on going. Finally she reached his cattle yards and went in to have a look. I caught her in there and we jumped out of them via the truck ramp. Twistie seemed very pleased with herself for going on a little adventure.

This evening Ingrid, Shaun, Sarah and I went to see Beauty and the Beast at the Theatre Royal. We all had a good time laughing at the expressions of all the cuttlery and Lefou. There was also a plate which didnt seem to know what he was doing and it was rather funny. We were told at the start of the performance that we had someone filling in for Chip. In the program the three girls named for playing chip were all around 10 and 11. However, when Chip spoke out of her little cup costume she sounded much younger but I thought maybe she was putting on the voice to sound cute. At the end of the play all the objects turn back into people (sorry to spoil the ending for anyone out there - such as Shaun - who has never seen Beauty and the Beast) and the girl playing chip was only about 6 years old. The stage production was very similar to the disney version only with a few more songs added, the Beast was not so cute, and there was no horse. Anyways we all enjoyed it and had lots of fun.
