In which Tori arrives back in Hobart

Over the course of my week in SA Charlie became tame. He now sits on my finger and on my shoulder but flies off occasionally to find adventures elsewhere or to chat to his reflection on the window sill. Cleo had a trip to Robyne's to visit her mum (Pippa) and her brother (Cricket) and her sister (Ziggy). The three of them bossed her around and reminded her that she is the runt and has gotten rather big for her boots. But that didnt seem to affect her behaviour back home. Meggy was her usual demanding self but just a little bit lazier than normal. Tilly was grumpy as usual and Gretta was practically perfect in every way.

On Saturday night the parentals and I went to Uleybury winery for dinner. The resteraunt was empty except for us so there was a ratio of 3 customers to 4 staff. Still the dinner was great (I had pasta and then rum and raisin gelati).

Sunday was my flight back to Hobart and I arrived in time to feed Twistie her dinner.

Today I spent a good deal of time organising things over the phone.
1. Get my scout stuff signed off on Thursday after cubs
2. See if Mum could find the phone number of the truck company
3. Ring the truck company (TC)
4. The TC rang back with a quote and we booked Twistie in for the 1st of Dec
5. Ring Mum to let her know the date and cost
6. Ring the Farrier's answering machine to change Twistie's shoeing date
7. The Farrier rang back to organise a new date
8. The TC rang back with the date she will arive in Kersbrook (5th)
9. Rang the vet to find out what time he is going to give Twistie and Bounce their injections tomorrow.
Other than that I spent my day walking dogs at the RSPCA (they have two 4 month old grey hound puppies which are really cute), visiting Ingrid at work, and cleaning out Twistie's paddock.

So I have been rather busy over the past few days

Yay! You're back : )

I hate having to organise things like that - I have to go and organise my real estate agent today so that I won't be homeless in a few days time when my lease runs out.
