Yesterday Mum, Haydee and I went to a small winery to have lunch for the Melbourne cup. The people running the lunch went around with tickets for the sweep stakes and the three of us entered twice. My first horse was number 4 who came 3rd and my other horse was number 13 who was doing really well but then didnt place. So by placing a doller on number 4 I managed to win $14. Which was better than if I had put money on him at the TAB.
Today Mum and I drove out to Roseworthy to find the TAFE campus. It looks like a big brick building with some paddocks and greenhouses. Im sure it will feel like home in no time. After that we went to look at some houses and then she took me to see the pet shop in Modbury. There we saw Charlie. Charlie is now my new budgie. He is white with a pale blue belly and grey stripes. At the moment he has a pink face cause he must have been eating a mineral block (could be related to Megan's bunny). We bought him home and he is sitting in the family room whistling to me. I am going to clip his wings tomorrow so that I can get him tame. Anyways that is the news from Kersbrook.
