Happy New Year!
I did just want to leave it at that but seeing as I have been so slack in posting lately I thought I would write more to keep you up to date.
After Christmas Haydee, Josh, and I went to Toc H camp. It went ok. With the exception of two sisters the girls were the best group I have ever had. We had no arguments or bitching. Also they had showers when they were told and got into bed when they were told. They also did not wake up in the morning before about 7:15 each day which ment that the female leaders had it easy. The boys at camp were not so obliging. They were troublesome and we had a number of fights. They also were awake at 5:30am every day.
We also had one of the girls with a suspected broken arm and she had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The ambulance drivers gave her a green whistle which was supposed to take away the pain and put her to sleep. Haydee and Josh went with her and apparently she was as high as a kite and was offering the whistle to Haydee and was sad when the nurses at the hospital took it away from her. It turns out that the arm was not broken only badly sprained but the girl got to have a great adventure.
I got home from camp yesterday and spent the afternoon napping. I then stayed awake until midnight watching the Cosby Show on my computer.
This morning I took Twistie for a ride and we found some paddocks full of other horses. She was so excited to see them and sad to leave. What was even more sad was when we got back to our farm she neighed loudly to see if she could hear them and there was no answer. She is now sulking in her paddock and looking out for other horses. I need to get her a friend soon.
