The pony I might be getting is only 11hands high. A grey Welsh pony mare called Apples. Apparently she is dead quiet and doesnt need to be fed so Dad can have no excuse to say she is eating too much grass. There are some other people looking at her too and Ill know in a few days if they are taking her or if I can go and pick her up. Although it wont be another horse for me to ride I am hoping she will be a good size to take my cousins riding. Bekka seems really keen to learn and it will be fun to teach her. Over christmas I put her on Twistie bareback and had her trotting around and she sat still as anything. Anyways I am also hoping I can teach the pony some circus tricks. Mum bought me two dvds of circus tricks to teach your horse and I have started with Twistie but it will be fun to teach the two of them different tricks.
This morning I took Twistie for a ride and we came across some kangaroos. She had a panic attack at the first one and I had to get off but after that she decided that kangaroos were something to look at but not something to freak out about.
All of this week I am looking after my neighbour Sandy's pets. She has two dogs (Jack Russel and Blue Heeler), four cats, a budgie, four chickens, three sheep, two bathtubs and a fish pond full of goldfish and a bird table for wild birds. It takes me about an hour in the morning to feed them all but it is fun. Lilly (Blue Heeler) continuously wants me to throw old shoes for her, and Henry (JR) just wants to be let out of the yard so he can go play in his paddling pool.
Oh and another thing. Yesterday Mum and Dad chose the tropical fish they wanted for their tank. They chose 10 rummy nose, 4 platies, 6 phantom glass catfish, and 4 sailfin mollies. The tank looks great. All it needs to finish it off is a couple of bristlenose catfish to clean off all the algae when it grows. (We couldnt get them yesterday cause there is nothing in the tank for them to eat yet). Anyways the tank looks great.
