On Wednesday of this week I went to my TAFE enrollment day. It was exciting finally learning what I am going to be doing for the next year. There are so far nine people in my class. 7 boys, and one other girl. I start TAFE on the 9th of February which is just over a week away and I am counting down the days.
On Thursday Robyne and Joshie came to my place to go for a ride. Mum babysat while Robyne and I went out. We didnt get very far before the farrier decided to come two hours early to fix a shoe that Twistie had lost last Friday. But since the weather was terrible (really windy) we didnt mind too much. I enjoyed showing Joshie around my farm so he could meet the chickens and the sheep and taste things from the vege garden.
On Friday night I went to Robyne's to help get ready for the Australia day weekend show. I worked and washed Minx on Friday evening then we loaded Minx and Maggie into the float and took them to Robyne's backyard to spend the night. We were up and out of the house by 6:30 yesterday morning to get to Metro (Glenelg) for the first class. Nick had entered both his horses in the 80cm and the 95cm and Minx in the Maiden D. Maggie jumped both her rounds clear and Minx got a refusal and a rail in the 95cm and the same again in the Maiden D I think. It is hard to see what is going on through the lense of a video camera. There were lots of people at the show including Gill Rolton, Megan Jones, Clive Reed. Oh and for those of you who dont know Maggie is Twistie's half sister.
When I got home last night I found that Mum had managed to get Gromit's coller on so now he looks specky with his new red coller
