Another busy day in the life of Tori
This morning I drove around to Ingrid's house and picked up Shaun, Ingrid and Miraka to go for a ride. We drove out to the ponies and the others went to get Bounce while I tacked up Twist. It was to be Twistie's first day being ridden in with a saddle. I got her all ready and had just ridden her out the gate and up the road a bit when Ingrid called to say the others had abandoned ship and didnt want to go for a ride any more (It was rather windy). I decided to still go for a bit of a ride and took Twistie up the road and back before meeting the others back at the car. Twistie seemed fine with that small amount of riding so I am still hopeful that she is on the path to recovery.
In the afternoon we all went to Say Cheese for lunch and had pancakes. Yum then went out to Cambridge park to the new pet shop and to Anaconda (a new camping store). We had been told by a few people that inside Anaconda was a swimming pool so people could test out the canoes and kayaks before buying them. We were very disapointed as there was no pool. There was however, a rock climbing wall which I wanted to try but the line of kids was long and we didnt have time before we had to drop Miraka at the air port.
Later Shaun drove Ingrid and I into town where we bought some cds and I bought an mp3. I have been saying I wasnt going to buy one for so long but after the car trip with Haydee for my birthday where we could listen so much different music by plugging her ipod into my car I decided that it was time. I am still planning to only use it when I am driving (my car does not have a cd player and my limited supply of tapes is very very limited) and not walk around listening to the mp3 constantly. Please feel free to yell at me if you see me doing so. Also while in town I had a look at some dvds. I found The Night Watch for $40 and decided that that was just too much money.

Later Ingrid and I went to the video shop to return season 4 of House and I bought a brand new copy of The Night Watch for only $15. I also bought The Rock for the same price as I have almost worn out the video. I no longer need to watch what is happening on the screen I can simply recite it which drives Mum mad. I think she was probably glad the video was almost dead. Hehe. Ingrid bought a few movies and we hired Hey Hey it's Esther Blueburger which has two girls from Walford and Mighty Good Talent School in it. It took me a while to spot them as both have grown up heaps in the past five years. The movie was enjoyable, a bit strange but good all the same.

The moral of this story is that buying dvds at blockbuster is an awful lot cheeper than buying them at sanity or ezy dvd

Hey,
Well you are finally becoming one of the great mass of people with mp3 players. Congratulations on holding out for this long.
