In which Tori goes to the Art Show

Today was the unveiling of the annual Jane Franklin Hall Art Show. In first year I entered some photos I took of waterfalls while in Darwin which, due to some freak of the camera, were slightly blurred in some spots which make them look dreamy. For this series of five photos I was awarded an honerable mention. In second year I entered some photos from my devil research and also some pics of flowers taken at the botanical gardens. My devil photos gained an Hon mention and my flower pics were awarded second prize (a book voucher). This year I got organised early and took some random photos and decided that I would make a collage out of them. I wasnt very happy with the result and so no surprises they did not win anything. I also entered the drawing I did of a frog, which I love, and three of my circle animals*, the hedgehog, the macaw, and my favourite the tapir. *The circle animals are some pics I drew at the start of the year to decorate my room. Basically I drew animal heads using a wierd technique that developed as I went along to look more like fur, I coloured in the backgrounds (each one a different bold colour) and cut them out in the same size circles. They decorate my room down a pillar and there are six in total. Anyways as much as I loved these they did not win anything either. Oh well never mind. The art on display was amazing. My favourite piece being Stretch's fridge which he had painted with blackboard paint and then over the year my friends had drawn on it and he took photos of their art. For the art show they had redrawn some of his favourite sections and it looked awesome.
