In which Tori becomes Mrs Doubtfire

Today was very busy.
This morning I drove Lori into town to get some coffee beans for Justin's birthday present, then I cleaned out my paddock and was heavily buffeted by the wind. This afternoon I went dress shopping for Ingrid's wedding. Her sister Miraka* (spelling), is down from Melbourne so we went to try on bridesmaid dresses. Miraka found one that is really pretty and Ingrid found one for me too but Im not entirely convinced. Then Ingrid and Miraka shopped around town for a little bit with me tagging along before convincing them that horseland is a much better store. We drove out to Derwent park where I spent the last of my birthday voucher and bought Twistie two new saddle blankets (two to make them thicker which will hopefully help her back). Then we went to Strut so Ingrid could show Miraka her wedding dress and then order it. Once all the shopping was done we drove back into Kingston to feed Twistie before I droped Ingrid and Miraka back at Ingrid's place.

And here's where the clever bit comes in. I decided to follow Robin Williams advice and when invited to two dinners on the same night I arranged them to be at the same time at the same restaurant. This way I could swap between Justin's dinner and Ingrid's dinner. Perfect.

After dinner Ingrid. Shaun. Miraka and I went for gelati at Murers. Well I had gelati, Ingrid had icecream, Shaun had a massive sunday, and Miraka didnt have anything. Then I drove back to Jane where I watched the end of Practical Magic and all of Pay it Forward. Which is a very sad movie but a thought provoking one none the less.

So now it is quatre past twelve and so technically everywhere I wrote 'today' it should read 'yesterday'. I wonder what today will bring?

Ok so I wrote the blog at 12:15am on Sunday the 14th of September, and thought that it would come up with that time on the blog and so I had to explain the whole yesterday today thing. But I had set the time on my blog to Adelaide time (ready for next year) so it reads that it was written on Saturday anyway, making my final comments redundant.

It is clear that you still don't know what day it is; or is that was?

Be careful not to become the victim of a "drive-by fruiting"

I am still trying to recover from the Wallabies capitulation to the All Blacks yesterday.

Have dun with your latest Blog :)
