In which Day One Concludes

This morning I was up at 4:45 after a broken nights sleep. Gretta chose last night at midnight to start worrying that the others were not at home and needed to go for a wonder around bumping into shut bedroom doors. I got up, got dressed, had breakfast, fed all the animals, left for work and arrived at work all in the dark. It is rather difficult to hold a dolphin torch and a wheelbarrow at the same time let alone being able to see where you are going. The animals were all a bit unsure about being up in the dark and Rocket is furious that he isnt allowed outside before I go to work. Oh I forgot, the sprinkler system was broken near the solenoid and spurting water everywhere so I had to turn it all off.

Ok so I got to work and met my fellow reveg people. They all seem rather nice. We are working on a site at Stebonheath near Andrews Farm. They have put lots of plants into a man made water catchment area and are now planting natives around the park section of the area. There is another crew from LCS there building playgrounds. The rest of the reveg people are sick of the site and are not impressed that they are doing landscape work rather than getting onto the reveg of a new wetland around the corner. But I dont mind. Apparently we have 2 more weeks at this site before moving to the new wetlands, then the RAF base then we may go to Mildura for a few months.

Anyways I got home around 4pm, fed all the animals, fixed the irrigation, had dinner and now am going to bed
