In which Tori has nothing to say

Sorry it has been so long since my last post but nothing interesting is happening down here. I have just been plodding along with my day to day routine and working on assignments. Back home in Adelaide lots of things seem to be happening. My poor old Meggy Moo has been sick. Her blood has stopped clotting and so has been having trips to the vet. The most comical of these trips was described to me by Mum. Meg had to be taken out the back by one of the vet's to have some blood tests taken. While she was out there Mum could here the vet saying things to Meg like: "Speak! Talk! Shake!". When she came back she told Mum that she knew Meg had some training and was just trying to see what else she could do. Now if you know my Meggy you would know that she is the laziest dog ever. Over the last uni break I tried teaching her those very commands as well as trying to get her to crawl along the ground. None of them would work because she would simply get tired, lie down, roll over, and lie there waiting for me to rub her tummy and no amount of dragging could convince her to sit up again.

I suppose there is a bit of news for you from down here. I have moved my tulips into a more sunny location and the petals on one of the flowers is actually turning purple/pink. Before (and on the last flower I had) the petals were just green. I am excited and I wonder what hormones/chemicals are in the petals which make it beneficial for them to change colour only in the sun. Ahh you see the inquisitive botanist comes out of me sometimes.

Well for having nothing to say I appear to have written quite a bit.
