In which Anya wins a prize

Yesterday was Anya's first dog show. It was an unofficial comp and more games than proper trials. Anya came 5th in the musical chairs, 2nd in the 11 legged race (two people tied together plus 8 dog legs), and our team came first in the bending relay for which we won a prize. Anya chose a squeeky purple bone. We didnt get anything in the pet with the best trick. Anya's crawling wasnt as impressive as Banjo's roll overs.
We also got to have a go at modified agility and obedience trials. In the agility she was only allowed to go over one jump but then we got to play with the longer, curved tunnels. Usually in puppy classes we only get short, straight tunnels. She did well in her obedience trial except for the stand command which we only started on Saturday. But she walked on a loose lead, sat when asked, stayed and came. So proud of the little pup.
Today. Anya had her desexing operation, got a microchip and had her ears tattooed. Now she is zoned out on her bed next to the fire.

aww - they can be so cute when they're still a bit groggy from the operation.
