After two weeks without all four shoes Otis was finally visited by his owner and shoes were put on. I took him to my lesson last friday and he was good. We did some work on him pushing me around on the ground and also work on stopping from walk and turns. He really has no idea but I like him anyway. Twistie is learning to cope. She doesnt like Otis much and gets worried if Apples strays too close to him but she is now happy to come out on rides again.
Other exciting news is that Laurel the female budgie in our outside aviary is having chicks. There were 4 eggs and she pushed one out of the nest but that still leaves three. So far we think we have at least one chick that has hatched. We havnt spotted it yet but there seems to be movement under her wings. On Monday mum and I went to the Royal show and talked to a budgie breeder and had a look at her chicks. I cant wait until mine start wandering about. I also wanted to buy some ducks while we were there. There were two Elizabeth ducks (a boy and a girl) for sale which were really beautiful. I wanted to call them Lizzie and Darcy. A little original I know but I like it. However, Dad said No. He also said no to me getting a dexter cow (dexters are cows with extremely short legs). He says we dont need any more eggs and dont need any milk. Oh well. They will have to wait until I get my own property.
Thats about it for now.

I love the names Lizzy and Darcy :) Megan called a pair of wallabies that she was raising the same thing, but I think that it would suit ducks better.
