I am now officially half way through my tafe course. Yay for me and yay for holidays. I have two weeks off and during the second week Mum and I are going to the Flinders Ranges. But until then there is not much planned. With the exception of today (which is freezing but sunny) it has recently been pouring with rain. To the point where I was considering climbing up a tree with 10 honey pots and waiting for the water to rise up and for a friend to send me a missige in a bottle with Ps on it which after floating on a pot which was sometimes a boat and sometimes not was discovered to be Ps for Piglets and not Ps for Poohs.
Due to this large amount of dissagreable weather the ponies have been slacking off recently. However, I did take Twistie to visit Robyne on Saturday and we went for a nice but short ride (it doesnt rain at Robyne's place if it is raining at ours and vice versa).
Yesterday Gretta and Meg ran away and as usual someone cought Meg but couldnt catch Gretta. I went around to pick Meg up and ran into Gretta who was on her way home. I had a nice long chat to the people who had caught them and they seemed like nice people. But when I got home Mum said that I was lucky as that man normaly shoots dogs which come onto his land. Good thing my dogs are so friendly.
Anyways that is the start to my holidays

I love that quote about being sometimes a boat and sometimes not. Pooh is such classic, innocent comedy. I love it!
Megan finally had her baby this week. She was a week overdue, but she and the baby are healthy and she and John managed to agree on a name for their daughter - Louise Finley Reardon. John chose "Finley" and Megan let him have it because all the other names he liked were quite terrible. I'm sending them some picture books of bugs and insects and butterflies so that Megan can make sure that Louise turns into a little zoologist. I haven't met Louise yet, but it is really weird to think of Megan as a mum :)
