So we are up to week 3 of TAFE now and there really isnt much to say. Life has been busy and successfull (Walford joke) as I have been juggling tafe, homework, the animals and scouts. I am almost convinced that something has to give and if that is the case I'll drop scouts. Being a member of a scout group which is 35minutes drive away after I have already driven to and from tafe is really a bit much. By the time i arrive home at 9:30 on a Tuesday night I am so exhausted that I am a bit zoned out for the rest of the week. I also dont like that I am supposed to be the leader in charge of the group. However, I will miss the kids and dont really want to let them down. Ill see how it goes for the next few weeks then decide.
All the animals at the farm are great. Charlie is learning to fly again, Wally and Gromit are greedy as ever and Wally is enjoying having cuddles, Cleo is naughty and stole my shoe the other night so that I couldnt go to scouts, Meg is her usual bossy self, Gretta is as wonderful as ever, Apples and Twistie are overjoyed to have been moved back into the front paddocks.
Funny story: yesterday after I fed the ponies Twistie was doing her usual - lets throw the feed bucket so Tori realises its empty and hopefully she will fill it back up - however due to the heat I had moved her feed bucket under some trees instead of in the wing for the cattle yard. This meant that as she rolled her bucket it rolled all the way down the paddock until it hit the bottom fence. (the paddock is longer than Jan's property and on a steeper hill). Twistie just stood at the top and stared at the bucket rolling away and then at me and then down the paddock again. I had to take the quad bike down to bring it back up.
